What is Lithium Carbonate used for?
Lithium Carbonate is widely used in the fluor of fluorescent light, display tube of TV, surface treatment of PDP (plasma display panel), optical glass, etc. Battery grade lithium carbonate is primarily used in the making of lithium cobalt oxide, lithium manganate, ternary cathode material and lithium iron phosphate and other cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries.
